At the end of 1998 "Scotty" came to live with us, when Gloria Bonnel approached us to train and show her 2 year old delinquent. Scotty became a champion within a few shows, winning double CC points (the last time they would be awarded for border collies) and of course the inevitable happened - we fell in love with him and bought him from Gloria, a decision we have never regretted. Our memories are filled with Scotty and his escapades; so much fun and laughter, when he stole our block of cheese which was to be our lunch; when he got carried away with a game and ripped Ronald's pants just before he was due in the ring. Adventures galore, like when we thought he had been stolen from the show grounds; the time when he treed the gardener for a few hours; sleepless nights, as he never could let us sleep when he spent the night in our room. We will never forget his mannerisms and habits, in fact they live on through his children and grandchildren.
