We met "Jet's" sire Presto on a visit to the USA back in 2011 and really liked him. When we heard he was being bred to Vogue we were seriously interested in the breeding - the rest is history! Thank you Ronna and Jeanette for allowing Jet to fly out to join us here in South Africa.
Exhibited in the Junior Class for much of 2015,
he has gone on to win 10 Best Junior in Group with
3 Best Junior in Show
&
5 Reserve Junior in Show
Multiple Best of Breeds, together with
3 Group Wins.
Reserve Border Collie of the Year 2015 - Collie Club
#3 Border Collie (Animal Talk 100) for 2015
#89 All Breeds.
After a long break from the showring he returned at the end of
2019
to complete his Grand Champion Title,
which he did in style, taking
a Group Win and 3x Group 2nd's, a Group 3rd & a Group 4th
over 2 weekends.
He is only the 3rd border collie to attain the G.Ch title.
Over the next 2 months he raced up the rankings with multiple group places, to end 2019 as:
#1 Border Collie on both systems.
#25 All Breeds & #4 Herding Dog (KUSA Showdog of 2020)
#80 All Breeds (Animal Talk Top 100 for 2019)
Joint Border Collie Of The Year 2019 (Collie Club).
Invited to NAPC Top Dog Competition 2020.
Multiple Group wins at the beginning of 2020
and Group places set him up for a fantastic year......
And then Covid arrived, decimating the show calender,
resulting in no shows for him for the rest of the year or 2021.
Nonetheless
His excellent results saw him end 2021 as
#30 All Breeds
#4 Herding Dog
#1 Border Collie
on the adjusted
KUSA SHOWDOG OF THE YEAR 2020/2021 Table.
Invited to SUPA 7'S SPECTACULAR early 2022.
